Recreational Scallop Season

It’s the most wonderful time of the year….

It’s been amazing to see everyone getting out and enjoying recreational scallop season. We have heard and seen good things in both Nantucket and Madaket Harbors! This October has been a mixed bag of weather, from torrential downpours on opening weekend to late October days in the low 70s!

Madaket has been bountiful, especially on Smith’s Point of Mass Ave. In town, we’ve seen some monsters on Hussey Shoal and lots of productivity in Second and Fourth Bends.
