Scallop Fun at Science Fest

We had such an amazing time at Science Fest this month! The kids got to look at live scallops, learn about their life cycle and growing habitat. And then they made their own scallop craft, complete with googly eyes of course! Thanks to Emily Molden, Chris Sleeper, and Valerie Hall for leading the table and connecting our island community to these treasured shellfish! And thank you to the Maria Mitchell Association for hosting Science Fest and bringing back some in-person & educational fun this year!
